About the Role
As a Teacher of SEND at KS2, you'll plan and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons shaped around the individual needs of the pupils in your class. Working with an education provider in the East of England, you'll create a calm, supportive environment where every pupil can overcome barriers to learning and make progress.

- Adapting resources and teaching methods to remove barriers to learning.
- Working closely with support staff to provide effective in-class and individual support.
- Monitoring and tracking progress against individual targets and feeding back to the wider team.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.

- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching at KS2
- An enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of teaching or supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities
- Understanding of EHCPs and positive behaviour support approaches
If you're ready to support KS2 pupils with additional needs to achieve their potential, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today to find out more.
