About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff at a further education provider in the West Midlands, giving learners with additional needs the practical and personal support they need to access their course and progress.

- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to learner support plans and reviews.

Essential:
- Experience supporting young people or adults in an educational, care or community setting
- Strong communication, empathy and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to inclusive learning and learner progress
- A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working with learners with SEND or SEMH needs
- Knowledge of EHCPs and learning support strategies
- A relevant qualification in education, support work or youth work, or a willingness to work towards one
If you're ready to help learners achieve more than they thought they could, we'd love to hear from you.
