About the Role

An education provider is seeking a Humanities Teacher to cover History and RE at Key Stages 3 and 4, along with Geography at Key Stage 3. If you can also offer Music at Key Stage 3, that's an added bonus.

You'll plan and deliver lessons across your subjects, maintaining a purposeful classroom in which every learner is supported to make progress. You'll work alongside an established teaching team and play a full part in the day-to-day life of the setting. The post runs until the end of term on 18 December 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging History and RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teaching Geography at Key Stage 3.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on learner progress.
• Creating an inclusive classroom where every learner is encouraged to achieve.
• Working with colleagues and support staff to meet the needs of all learners.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or BEd)
• UK Qualified Teacher Status
• Completed ECT induction, as this role cannot support an Early Career Teacher
• The ability to teach History, RE and Geography

Desirable (but not essential):

• The ability to teach Key Stage 3 Music
