Maths Teacher
Temporary | Contract
Start date: 6 October 2026
About the Role
A school is looking for a committed Maths Teacher to join its department on a contract basis. You'll deliver engaging lessons, support learners to make strong progress and play a full part in the life of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners with exam preparation and attainment.
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting learner achievement and progression
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
