Salary: £32,896 - £41,592 per annum (dependent on experience) + £3,000 Market Supplement per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (37 Hours per Week)

Role Overview

A dynamic Further Education provider in Hampshire is seeking an experienced trade professional to join their team as a Full-Time Electrical Installation Lecturer. Bring your technical industry expertise to the classroom and help shape the next generation of skilled electricians.

You will deliver theoretical and practical instruction across Levels 1–3, including inspection and testing, fault diagnosis, and system design. You will also serve as Course Leader for designated programmes, guiding learners toward full occupational competence and successful End Point Assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across practical skills and theory in Electrical Installation.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student learning through marking, feedback, and progress reviews.
• Act as Course Leader, managing delivery schedules, quality standards, and pastoral care.
• Maintain accurate records for registers, attendance, and awarding body compliance.
• Liaise with employers, parents, and industry bodies to organise work placements.
• Contribute to continuous curriculum development, quality assurance, and open events.

Requirements

• Essential: Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation, plus GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Desirable: ECS Gold Card / AM2, 18th Edition, Level 5 Teaching qualification, and Assessor / IQA Awards (or a commitment to achieve qualifications on the job).
