Job Title – Hourly Paid Assessor / Internal Verifier for Electrical

Salary – £19.41 - £22.16 per hour

Location – Royal Leamington Spa

Contract Type - Permanent / Hourly Paid / Zero Hours

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Electrical Assessor or Internal Verifier to join a dynamic Work-Based Learning team and inspire the next generation of electricians.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the Lead Internal Verifier for the Centre and deputy Centre Co-ordinator, leading the IV team in CPD and standardisation.
• Conduct formal verification of apprenticeship portfolios and NVQ assessment activities both in the workplace and at the college.
• Conduct NVQ assessments for apprenticeships and work-based learning within the electrical department.
• Liaise with External Verifiers and Awarding Bodies to support audit visits and maintain standardized documentation.
• Ensure all assessment and awarding body documentation is maintained to high college and employer standards.
• Participate in team activities and attend college-delivered 'Teaching Essentials' training.

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (e.g., JIB Gold Card).
• Assessor Award (preferably A1 or equivalent).
• Recent, extensive industrial experience with wide technical knowledge in the electrical vocation.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards within the sector.

Desirable: Internal Verification Award (V1 or equivalent), UK driving licence, and IT skills.
