Business Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the East of England
Are you a business professional or experienced tutor who enjoys helping learners build the knowledge and confidence to progress into work or higher study?
About the Role
As a Business Lecturer with a further education provider, you'll plan and deliver engaging sessions across business programmes, helping learners develop the subject knowledge, practical skills and employability prospects they need to take their next step.
You'll teach across a range of levels and abilities, adapting your approach so every learner can succeed, and you'll monitor progress closely so learners get the feedback and encouragement that keeps them on track.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across business programmes.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support progression and achievement.
- Teaching and assessing learners at a range of levels.
- Providing timely, constructive feedback that helps learners improve.
- Contributing to curriculum development so content reflects current industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate course and learner records.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge in business
- Level 3 qualification or higher in your subject area
- A passion for teaching and for passing on your knowledge
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in a further education setting
