About the Role

You'll join an education provider in the West Midlands, teaching primary-aged pupils and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of your class. You'll plan and deliver lessons across the primary curriculum, adapting your approach so that every child can access the learning.

You'll track progress, give feedback that moves pupils on, and work with colleagues and support staff to keep the classroom calm, positive and well organised.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Adapting teaching and resources to meet the range of needs in your class.
• Assessing pupil progress and keeping accurate records.
• Managing behaviour positively and maintaining a safe, structured classroom.
• Working with support staff and colleagues to support pupils' learning and wellbeing.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a primary setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience across both KS1 and KS2
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
