About the Role

You'll join a school as an Assistant Wand Cleaner, supporting the cleaning team to keep the site clean, safe and welcoming for learners and staff.

Working as part of an established team, you'll carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks to schedule and to a consistently high standard, using equipment and materials safely. You'll be given the support and guidance you need to settle in quickly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out day-to-day cleaning tasks across the site to the required standard.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the areas you're responsible for.
• Using, storing and handling cleaning equipment and materials safely.
• Reporting maintenance issues and any concerns about the condition of the site.
• Contributing to a safe, positive and welcoming environment for learners and staff.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• The ability to work to a schedule and complete tasks on time
• A practical understanding of health and safety when using cleaning products and equipment
• A reliable and thorough approach to your work
• The ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous cleaning experience
• Previous experience working in a school or similar setting
