About the Role

A further education provider in the East Midlands is looking for a Maths Lecturer to cover a period of absence. You'll teach across the week on a fixed timetable of 25 paid teaching hours, picking up established groups and keeping their learning moving without disruption.

You'll deliver clear, accessible Maths sessions to learners of mixed abilities, many of whom are working towards Maths alongside a wider study programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and preparing lesson resources and assessments.
  • Marking work and giving learners timely, useful feedback.

  • Working alongside the Maths team and wider curriculum staff.
  • Maintaining high standards of classroom management and a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Ability to adapt your teaching to varied learning needs
  • Availability to work to a set weekly timetable from January

Desirable (but not essential):
