Are you an experienced hospitality or tourism professional looking to pass your industry knowledge on to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider to deliver hospitality and tourism programmes to learners working towards industry-recognised qualifications. It's a chance to bring your experience of the sector into the classroom and practical environment, helping learners build the skills and confidence employers look for.

You don't need previous teaching experience to apply. If you have a strong background in hospitality or tourism, support will be available to help you develop as a teacher, including mentoring and ongoing development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering practical and theory sessions across hospitality and tourism qualifications.
• Assessing learner progress and providing clear, constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Preparing learners for their assessments and examinations.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
• Supporting learners to develop the practical skills and employability the sector expects.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in hospitality, catering or tourism
• Up-to-date industry experience in hospitality or tourism

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching, assessing or instructing learners
