Are you a time-served electrician looking to pass on your trade knowledge to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider in Yorkshire and the Humber, delivering Electrical Installation courses to learners working towards a career in the industry. You'll teach both classroom theory and practical workshop sessions, bringing your own industry experience into the learning environment.

You'll work alongside a team of industry professionals, supporting learners to build the technical skills and confidence they need to progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation courses.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
• Supporting learners in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
• Extensive industry experience in the electrical trade

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
