Electrical Installation Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Salary: £45 per hour
Start date: November 2026
Are you a qualified electrician looking to inspire the next generation of electricians?
About the Role
You'll join an education provider as an Electrical Installation Lecturer, delivering Electrical Installation programmes to learners and helping them build the technical skills and confidence they need to progress into the industry.
You'll plan and deliver both classroom theory and practical workshop sessions, assess learners' work and give the feedback that keeps them moving forward.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- Extensive industry experience in the electrical industry
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
Desirable (but not essential):
- An assessor qualification
- Previous experience teaching or assessing in further education
