About the Role

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer with a further education provider, you'll deliver engaging theory and practical workshop sessions across electrical installation programmes, helping learners build the technical skills and employability prospects they need to progress in the industry.

You'll plan and assess learning activities that support achievement, bring current industry standards into your teaching, and work alongside a team of industry professionals to create a supportive learning environment. If you haven't taught before, that's no barrier — you'll be supported to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching across electrical installation courses.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
• Supporting learners in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content aligns with current industry standards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical installation
• Extensive industry experience in the electrical industry
• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
• An assessor qualification
