Careers Adviser
Temporary | Contract
Location: London
Start date: September 2026
About the Role
You'll join an education provider as a Careers Adviser, helping learners understand their options and plan a positive next step. You'll work one to one with students, and alongside staff, families and external partners, to make sure each person leaves with a clear and realistic plan.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one careers guidance tailored to each learner's strengths, interests and goals.
- Advising on further study, university, apprenticeships, training and employment routes.
- Supporting learners with CVs, applications, personal statements and interview preparation.
- Working with staff, families and external providers to help learners move into a positive destination.
- Keeping accurate records of guidance given, destinations and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified careers advisor, ideally Level 6 or above
- Experience providing careers guidance to young people
- Knowledge of further study, university, apprenticeship, training and employment routes
- Organised and confident working with learners, staff and external partners
- Available to start in September 2026
