Job Title: Bricklaying Lecturer / Instructor
Location: Isle of Wight
Salary: Up to £38,144 per annum (Depending on skills and experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Package: 38 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), generous pension scheme, fully funded training/development, and high street discount schemes.

We are recruiting for a Bricklaying Lecturer to join an established education team within a secure custodial environment. In this role, you will teach small groups of adult learners, helping them gain practical skills and qualifications up to Level 2. Your work will directly give them the confidence and trade expertise they need to secure stable employment upon release and build a brighter future.
What You Will Be Doing
Teaching & Training: Deliver engaging, practical bricklaying classes up to Level 2 (City & Guilds).
Mentoring: Support and guide learners through their qualifications, boosting their confidence and employability skills.
Progress Tracking: Help learners achieve their individual goals in a structured, positive classroom environment.
Reducing Re-offending: Play a vital role in a learner's rehabilitation journey by providing them with a meaningful, positive learning experience.
What We Are Looking For
Trade Expertise: A strong, passionate background in bricklaying with substantial practical trade experience.
Great Communication: The ability to engage, motivate, and inspire small groups of individuals in a fast-paced environment.
An Inspiring Attitude: Someone creative, adaptable, and genuinely motivated to help others turn their lives around.
No Teaching Experience? No Problem! If you have the trade skills and a desire to teach, you will be fully supported and provided with all the necessary training and teaching qualifications on the job.
