About the Role

Our client, a further education provider, is looking for a Travel & Tourism Lecturer to join their team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across travel and tourism programmes, helping learners build the knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need to progress into employment or further study.

You'll plan and prepare your sessions, assess learner work and track progress, working alongside a supportive team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across travel and tourism programmes.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
• Providing constructive feedback and setting individual learning targets.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
• Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an engaging and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in travel and tourism, or relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of the travel and tourism sector
• Experience of teaching, assessing or instructing learners, or a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification
• An assessor qualification
• Previous experience of working in further education
