Travel & Tourism Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: London
Start date: October 2026
Are you an experienced travel and tourism professional looking to pass your industry knowledge on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across travel and tourism programmes. You'll help learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality sessions across travel and tourism programmes.
- Planning and preparing engaging lessons that reflect current industry practice.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in travel and tourism
- Industry experience within the travel and tourism sector
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in a further education setting
