Sport Lecturer
Temporary
Location: London

Are you an experienced sport or fitness professional looking to inspire the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering sport programmes to learners working towards careers in sport, fitness and physical activity.
You'll plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions, drawing on your own vocational knowledge to help learners build the skills, confidence and understanding they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering sport lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive, timely feedback.
- Creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where learners are stretched and challenged.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress towards employment or further study.
- Keeping your vocational knowledge current and reflecting sector practice in your teaching.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in sport, fitness or a related subject
- Industry experience within sport, fitness or physical activity
- Ability to engage and motivate learners in both practical and classroom settings
Desirable (but not essential):
- Teaching qualification
- Assessor award
- Previous experience of teaching or coaching in a further education setting
