Sport and Public Services Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the North West
Start date: October 2026

About the Role
We're recruiting a Sport and Public Services Lecturer on behalf of a further education provider in the North West. You'll deliver teaching and assessment across sport and public services programmes, bringing your own sector experience into the classroom.
You'll plan engaging sessions, support learners through their qualifications and track their progress towards achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering theory and practical sessions across sport and public services programmes.
- Planning and preparing high-quality teaching, learning and assessment materials.
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
- Monitoring learner attendance, progress and achievement.
- Supporting learners to progress into employment or further study.
- Contributing to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in sport, public services or a related discipline
- Occupational experience within sport, uniformed or public services
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
