Specialist Exam Access Assessor (Level 7)
Temporary
Location: London
Start date: 8 September 2026
Are you a qualified Exam Access Arrangements assessor who wants to make sure every learner can show what they know?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, carrying out Exam Access Arrangements assessments and producing the evidence needed to put the right adjustments in place for learners.
You'll work closely with teaching and learning support colleagues to identify learners who may need an assessment, and make sure arrangements are applied consistently and in line with JCQ regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Exam Access Arrangements assessments in line with JCQ regulations and the provider's policies.
- Producing clear, compliant reports and evidence to support recommended adjustments.
- Liaising with curriculum teams, learning support staff and tutors to identify learners who may require assessment.
- Maintaining accurate records and making sure documentation is stored and submitted correctly for audit and awarding body requirements.
- Communicating assessment outcomes to staff and learners and supporting the effective implementation of approved arrangements.
Essential Qualification
- CPT3A or Level 7 qualification in Exam Access Arrangements
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working as an EAA assessor
- Understands additional learning needs and how they affect learners in assessment conditions
- Holds up-to-date safeguarding training, or is willing to obtain it
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
