Foundation Learning Lecturer
Temporary | Contract | 3 Days per Week
Location: the South West
Are you a specialist teacher who enjoys helping learners with SEND and SEMH needs build confidence and independence?
About the Role
A further education provider in the South West is looking for a Foundation Learning Lecturer to join a dynamic team of specialist teachers and professionals within its foundation learning department.
You'll deliver inclusive, trauma-informed and person-centred teaching that supports the holistic development of learners with SEND and SEMH needs, working alongside colleagues who share that approach.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to learners within the foundation learning department.
- Providing inclusive, trauma-informed and person-centred sessions tailored to individual learner needs.
- Supporting the holistic development of learners with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Working as part of a team of specialist teachers and professionals to support learner success.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience of teaching or supporting learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs
- A person-centred, trauma-informed approach to teaching and learning
- Availability to start as soon as possible
