SEND Curriculum Manager
Temporary
Location: London
Start date: 17 September 2026
Are you an experienced further education curriculum manager with a background in SEND, Foundation Learning or Supported Learning?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, leading and managing SEND provision and making sure learners with additional needs receive high-quality teaching and the support they need to progress.
You'll manage the teaching team, oversee curriculum planning and quality, and keep a close eye on learner progress, attendance and achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing SEND and Foundation Learning provision.
- Line managing, supporting and developing teaching staff.
- Driving recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progression.
- Leading curriculum planning, quality assurance and improvement activity.
- Monitoring learner progress, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Managing curriculum resources, staffing and timetabling.
- Working with parents, carers and external agencies.
- Using data to monitor performance and act where improvement is needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Curriculum management experience within further education
- Experience leading SEND, Foundation Learning or Supported Learning provision
- Experience managing and developing teaching staff
- A full teaching qualification
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs and complex needs
- Strong understanding of inclusive curriculum delivery and learner support
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of self-assessment and quality improvement planning
