Psychology Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: 28 September 2026

About the Role
A further education provider in Yorkshire and the Humber is looking for a Psychology Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll plan and deliver engaging psychology sessions, support learners through their programme and help them achieve the grades they need for their next step.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality psychology teaching.
- Preparing, marking and assessing work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing support where it is needed.
- Contributing to curriculum development and the wider work of the teaching team.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A degree in psychology or a closely related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching psychology in a further education setting
