Psychology & Criminology Teacher
Temporary
Location: the North West
Start date: 5 October 2026
Are you a Psychology and Criminology specialist who enjoys helping learners make sense of human behaviour and the justice system?
About the Role
You'll deliver Psychology and Criminology qualifications for a further education provider, planning and teaching sessions that engage learners and build both subject knowledge and independent study skills.
You'll assess work, track progress and give the feedback learners need to achieve, working alongside a supportive teaching team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Psychology and Criminology sessions.
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback to support progress.
- Monitoring learner progress and putting support in place where it is needed.
- Preparing learners for assessment and examination.
- Contributing to the development of course materials and resources.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant degree or subject specialism in Psychology and/or Criminology
- Experience of teaching or delivering to groups of learners
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make it accessible
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching within further education
