Project Engineer (plumbing bias)
Temporary | Contract
Location: the East Midlands
Start date: September 2026
Are you a plumbing professional with project experience looking for your next contract?
About the Role
A further education provider in the East Midlands is looking for a Project Engineer with a plumbing bias to join them on a contract basis.
You'll bring your technical expertise to the provider's estate, taking plumbing-related projects from planning through to completion and working alongside colleagues to keep facilities running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating and delivering plumbing-related projects across the provider's estate.
- Providing technical input and hands-on expertise throughout each stage of a project.
- Liaising with colleagues and contractors to keep work on schedule and to standard.
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality and compliance standards.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A recognised plumbing qualification
- Proven trade experience in plumbing
- Experience of delivering or supporting engineering or maintenance projects
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of working within a further education or similar estate
