Plumbing Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the Wales

Are you an experienced plumbing professional looking to pass on your trade knowledge to the next generation?
About the Role
An education provider is seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to join their teaching team. You'll plan and deliver engaging practical and theory sessions that help learners build the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to progress within the industry.
You'll work in both classroom and workshop settings, assessing learner work, tracking progress and keeping your teaching grounded in current industry practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality teaching across plumbing programmes.
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining a safe and effective classroom and workshop environment.
- Monitoring progress, attendance and achievement, and putting support in place where it is needed.
- Contributing to curriculum development and the ongoing improvement of teaching resources.
- Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 plumbing qualification or equivalent
- Substantial industry experience as a plumber
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate and engage learners
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification, or the willingness to work towards one
- An assessor qualification
- Previous experience of teaching or training groups
