Plumbing Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the South East

Are you an experienced plumbing professional ready to pass your trade skills on to the next generation?
About the Role
Our client, a further education provider, is looking for a Plumbing Lecturer to join their team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across plumbing programmes, helping learners build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence they need to progress into employment or further training.
You'll plan and prepare both workshop and classroom sessions, assess learner work and track progress, working alongside a supportive team to create a positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering practical and theoretical teaching across plumbing programmes.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
- Providing constructive feedback and setting individual learning targets.
- Maintaining a safe and effective workshop and classroom environment.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 plumbing qualification or equivalent
- Current or recent industry experience as a plumber
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and engage learners
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- An assessor qualification
- Previous experience of teaching or training groups
