Photography Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the East of England
Are you a photography professional ready to pass your skills on to the next generation of image-makers?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider to deliver high-quality teaching across photography programmes, helping learners build the creative and technical skills they need to progress.
You'll plan and prepare sessions, assess learners' work and track their progress, working as part of a team of industry professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging theory and practical sessions across photography courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in photography or a related discipline
- Industry experience in a photography or creative role
- Strong practical and technical knowledge
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing learners
