Performing Arts Lecturer
Temporary

Are you a performing arts professional ready to pass your craft on to the next generation of performers?
About the Role
A further education provider in London is looking for a Performing Arts Lecturer to join their teaching team, with an anticipated start date of October 2026.
You'll plan and deliver engaging practical and theory sessions across performing arts, assessing learners' work and supporting them to build the skills and confidence they need to progress into further study or the industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and assessing learners across performing arts courses.
- Planning and preparing engaging practical and theory sessions.
- Monitoring, tracking and supporting learner progress and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development in line with current industry practice.
- Working with colleagues to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a performing arts discipline
- Industry or professional experience in performing arts
- Experience of teaching, assessing or instructing learners, or a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of delivering within a further education setting
- An assessor qualification
