About the Role
A further education provider in the North West is looking for a Part-Time GCSE English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to learners resitting GCSE English as part of their study programme.
You'll work with learners of mixed ability, many of whom have not yet succeeded in the subject, supporting them towards a Grade 4 and building the literacy and confidence they need for work, life and further study.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Strong understanding of the GCSE specification and effective resit strategies
- Ability to differentiate and adapt your teaching to varied learning needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to inspire learners
Desirable (but not essential):
- A degree in English or a closely related subject
If you're ready to help learners achieve the English grade that changes what comes next for them, we'd love to hear from you.
