Are you an experienced construction professional looking to pass your trade skills on to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across multi-skills programmes. Working across both practical workshop and classroom settings, you'll help learners build the hands-on skills and confidence they need to progress into employment or further training.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality practical and theoretical sessions across multi-skills programmes.
• Planning and preparing engaging lessons that reflect current industry practice.
• Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Providing academic and pastoral support to help learners achieve their goals.
• Maintaining accurate learner records and monitoring attendance and achievement.
• Embedding English and maths within vocational learning.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant construction trade
• Hands-on industry experience across multi-skills or multi-trade environments
• Level 2 English and maths (or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate learners from a range of backgrounds

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET) or a willingness to work towards one
• Experience of teaching across Levels 1, 2 and 3 in a further education or training environment
• Experience supporting learners with additional educational or behavioural needs
