Multi Skilled Tutor
Temporary
Location: the North West
Start date: 12 October 2026
Are you an experienced tradesperson looking to pass your skills on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the North West, delivering practical and theoretical training across a range of trade skills to learners working towards their qualifications.
This is an opportunity to bring your hands-on industry experience into the classroom and workshop, helping learners build the technical ability and confidence they need to progress into employment, apprenticeship or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging practical and theoretical sessions across a range of trade areas.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners to develop their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Trade qualifications and practical experience across more than one skill area
- Ability to motivate and support learners of differing abilities
- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching or assessing qualification such as AET, PTLLS, TAQA or CAVA
- Previous experience of teaching or training in a further education or work-based learning setting
- Enhanced DBS
