Motor Vehicle Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Are you an experienced motor vehicle professional looking to inspire the next generation of technicians?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider, delivering motor vehicle training to learners working towards their qualifications. Across theory sessions and practical workshop activity, you'll bring your industry experience into the teaching environment and help learners build the technical skills employers are looking for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging motor vehicle theory and practical sessions.
- Adapting your teaching to meet the individual needs of learners.
- Assessing learner work and tracking progress towards qualification completion.
- Producing learning resources to support the programme.
- Keeping accurate records and completing associated administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, or a related discipline
- Industry experience you can draw on in the workshop and classroom
- The ability to motivate and support learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching or assessing qualification
- Previous experience of teaching or training in a further education setting
