Location: the North West
Start date: 1 October 2026
Are you an experienced motor vehicle professional looking to inspire the next generation of technicians?
About the Role
You'll deliver motor vehicle qualifications for a further education provider, combining practical workshop instruction with classroom-based theory teaching. You'll help learners build the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional standards they need to progress into employment or an apprenticeship.
This role would suit someone with a strong vocational background in the motor vehicle sector who is ready to move into teaching, as well as those already lecturing. If you haven't taught before, you'll be supported with fully funded teacher training, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory sessions in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback to support progress.
- Monitoring learner progress and putting support in place where it is needed.
- Maintaining accurate learner records and contributing to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Promoting safe, professional and industry-standard workshop practice.

Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing learners
Drive the Next Generation Forward
If you're ready to pass on your trade skills to learners starting out in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.
What's on Offer
- Fully funded teacher training
- Mentoring support
- Ongoing professional development
