Are you an experienced motor vehicle professional looking to inspire the next generation of technicians?

About the Role

As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging theory and practical workshop sessions across Motor Vehicle programmes, helping learners build the technical knowledge and hands-on skills they need to progress into employment or an apprenticeship.

Working with an education provider, you'll plan industry-relevant lessons, assess progress and create a safe, professional learning environment where learners are motivated to achieve. If you're new to teaching, that's not a barrier — your industry experience is what matters most, and you'll be supported to gain a recognised teaching qualification while you work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering classroom and workshop-based teaching across Motor Vehicle programmes.
• Planning lessons and developing industry-relevant curriculum content.
• Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Maintaining accurate learner records and contributing to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Promoting safe, industry-standard workshop practice at all times.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle (or equivalent)
• Recent industry experience in the motor vehicle sector
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Enthusiasm for developing and inspiring future technicians

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching or assessing
