Liaison Officer
Temporary | Contract
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Salary: £17 per hour
About the Role
A further education provider in Yorkshire and the Humber is looking for a Liaison Officer to be a visible, approachable point of contact for students and staff across the site.
You'll support the day-to-day running of the site, helping students feel settled, safe and able to get on with their studies, and working alongside teaching and support teams to resolve issues as they arise.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a first point of contact for students, staff and visitors.
- Supporting students with day-to-day queries and signposting them to the right teams.
- Working with teaching and support staff to resolve issues quickly.
- Supporting the smooth, orderly running of the site during the working day.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience of working with young people or adults in an education or support setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, approachable manner and good organisational skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a further education environment
