Health and Social Care Work Placement Visitor
Contract | Temporary
Are you an experienced health and social care professional who enjoys supporting learners out in the workplace?
About the Role
We are recruiting a Health and Social Care Work Placement Visitor to work with a further education provider, supporting students while they are on work placement.
You'll be the link between the provider, the learner and the placement employer, visiting settings to check that placements are running well and that students are getting the experience their programme requires.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting learners in their health and social care work placements.
- Monitoring student progress, attendance and conduct while on placement.
- Liaising with placement employers to ensure the placement meets programme requirements.
- Supporting students with any issues arising during their placement.
- Keeping accurate records of visits, progress and any concerns raised.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A vocational background in health and social care
- Confidence working with both learners and employers
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to travel between placement settings
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience of work placement monitoring, assessing or supporting learners in further education
