Temporary
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber

Are you an experienced health or social care professional ready to pass your knowledge on to the next generation of practitioners?
About the Role
A further education provider in the region is looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll deliver high-quality teaching to learners working towards health and social care qualifications, bringing your sector experience into the classroom.
You'll plan and prepare your own sessions, track learner progress and give the feedback and encouragement that helps students achieve.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across health and social care programmes.
- Assessing learners' work and providing clear, constructive feedback on their progress.
- Creating an inclusive learning environment where every learner is supported and challenged.
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance, achievement and progress.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification or occupational background in health or social care
- Recent experience gained in the health or social care sector
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of mixed ability
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching, training or assessing
