HE Health & Social Care Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the West Midlands
About the Role
We are working with a further education provider in the West Midlands who is looking for an HE Health & Social Care Lecturer to join their team, with the role starting from 14 October 2026.
You'll teach health and social care at higher education level, bringing your sector expertise into the classroom and helping adult learners build the knowledge and confidence they need to progress into rewarding careers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging higher education sessions in health and social care.
- Assessing learners' work and providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Supporting students to achieve their qualifications and prepare for employment or further study.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in health and social care, or substantial sector experience
- The ability to teach and support learners at higher education level
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience lecturing in a further or higher education setting
