Temporary | Contract
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: October 2026
Are you a digital technology professional or experienced lecturer ready to teach at higher education level?
About the Role
We're supporting an education provider to appoint a lecturer to deliver on their HE Digital Technology provision. You'll plan and teach across the programme, bringing current industry practice into your sessions and supporting students through their studies.
You'll work with students at degree level, assessing their work and guiding their progress towards successful completion and onward employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality teaching across HE Digital Technology modules.
- Assessing student work, giving constructive feedback and carrying out progress reviews.
- Supporting student retention, achievement and progression.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Keeping your own subject knowledge and industry practice up to date.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a digital, computing or IT subject
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital technology practice
- The ability to plan, deliver and assess at higher education level
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching in further or higher education
