Are you an experienced fire and security professional looking to pass on your expertise to the next generation of engineers?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider in the North West, delivering fire and security training to learners working towards their qualifications. Across both theory sessions and practical workshops, you'll bring your industry experience into the teaching environment and help learners build the skills employers are looking for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical fire and security sessions.
• Adapting your teaching to meet the individual needs of learners.
• Assessing learner work and tracking progress towards qualification completion.
• Producing learning resources to support the programme.
• Keeping accurate records and completing associated administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in fire and security systems or a closely related discipline
• Industry experience you can draw on in the workshop and classroom
• The ability to motivate and support learners to achieve

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching or assessing qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching, assessing or mentoring
