About the Role

Our client, a further education provider, is looking for an Engineering Lecturer to join their team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across engineering programmes, helping learners build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further study.

You'll plan and prepare both workshop and classroom sessions, assess learner work and track progress, working alongside a supportive team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering practical and theoretical teaching across engineering programmes.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
• Providing constructive feedback and setting individual learning targets.
• Maintaining a safe and effective workshop and classroom environment.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
• Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in engineering or a related discipline
• Strong practical and technical knowledge of engineering
• Ability to motivate and support learners of differing abilities

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching, assessing or instructing learners
