Engagement Lead
Temporary
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
About the Role
An education provider is looking to appoint a Engagement Lead to support learner engagement and participation across its site, with a start date of September 2026.
You'll be the visible point of contact on site, building positive relationships with learners and working closely with colleagues to keep students engaged with their programmes and supported throughout their studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading engagement activity across the site and promoting positive participation among learners.
- Building strong working relationships with learners, staff and wider teams.
- Identifying learners at risk of disengaging and coordinating appropriate support.
- Working with colleagues to encourage attendance, retention and progression.
- Maintaining accurate records of engagement activity and learner contact.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience of working with learners or young people in an education or training setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work on your own initiative
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of leading engagement, outreach or participation activity
