Electrical Installations Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the North West
Start date: 5 October 2026
Are you an experienced electrician looking to inspire the next generation of the trade?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the North West, delivering Electrical Installations teaching to learners working towards their qualifications. This is an opportunity to bring your industry knowledge into the classroom and workshop, supporting learners to build the technical skills and confidence they need to progress.
You'll work as part of a team of industry professionals, balancing theory with practical application and helping learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Electrical Installations courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners to develop their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installations
- Extensive industry experience in the electrical industry
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- An assessor qualification
