Electrical Installations Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the North West
Start date: 5 October 2026
Are you an experienced electrician who would enjoy passing on your trade to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the North West as an Electrical Installations Lecturer, delivering teaching and assessment across electrical installation provision. You'll plan and prepare sessions that keep learners engaged, and you'll track their progress towards achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across electrical installation courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in building their technical skills and employability.
- Working collaboratively with a team of colleagues to maintain a supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical installations
- Relevant industry experience in the electrical trade
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
