Electrical Installation Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the North East
Start date: November 2026

About the Role
A further education provider in the North East is looking for an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join its vocational teaching team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation courses, combining classroom theory with practical workshop sessions.
You'll support learners to build the technical skills, confidence and employability they need to progress into the electrical industry, working alongside a team of experienced industry professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- Extensive industry experience in the electrical industry
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
- An assessor qualification
