Electrical Installation Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Are you an experienced electrician ready to pass your trade on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider to deliver Electrical Installation programmes across classroom theory and practical workshop sessions. You'll plan and prepare engaging learning activities, assess learner work and keep students progressing towards achievement.
You'll work as part of a team of industry professionals, contributing to curriculum development so that what learners are taught reflects current industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development, keeping content aligned with current industry standards.
- Supporting learners to develop their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
- Developing employer partnerships to enhance learning opportunities and industry engagement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- Extensive industry experience in the electrical industry
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- An assessor qualification
