Are you an experienced electrician looking to pass on your trade knowledge to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider, delivering high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation courses to learners working towards their qualifications and progression into the industry.

You'll plan and deliver both classroom theory and practical workshop sessions, helping learners build the technical skills and behaviours employers expect. If you're currently on the tools and new to teaching, that's welcome — a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification is enough to be considered.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging teaching across Electrical Installation courses.
• Assessing learning activities and supporting learner progression and achievement.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
• Supporting learners to develop their technical skills and employability prospects.
• Working collaboratively with a team of industry professionals to create a supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
• Extensive industry experience in the electrical industry
• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
