Are you an experienced electrician looking to pass on your trade skills and inspire the next generation of electricians?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider in the North West, delivering Electrical Installation training to learners working towards vocational qualifications. You'll combine classroom theory with practical workshop sessions, drawing on your own time in the industry to bring the subject to life.

You'll support learners as they build the technical skills, confidence and qualifications they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further study.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering Electrical Installation programmes through classroom and practical workshop sessions.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
• Supporting learners to develop their technical skills and employability prospects.
• Working collaboratively with a team of industry professionals to create a supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• Significant industry experience as an electrician

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
